Letting go and looking forward

Yesterday was a tough day for me.

Letting go of my new found family was really hard. But things aren't as bad as they seem, really. It's all a part of college, and maybe I just got myself so attached to these guys that it's actually hard to get myself used to them being away from me. I mean, not really away from me, but you know what I mean.

This is the best relationship I've had in forever. Everyone treats everybody equally, and for the first time, I felt like I was fully accepted. Unlike high school which was filled with bullshit and drama. My first year of college was different. And it's really hard to start anew this year. But I have to.

I'll miss all of them. It's not the same without all of us being together.
