Nostalgic Metaphors

I am a purple crystal in a sea of rocks
Maybe I seem weak. Maybe I've made it look like I cling on to you most of the time
But I deserve better than you

We are a bizarre combination
I'm the sun and you're heliocentric
We are a spectrum made up of unclear wavelenghts

Why do you keep on proving your superiority to me?
Your infidelity is a meteorite while I am the atmosphere
I can make you or I can break you

I am a twilight, rising softly and finally
Breaking away from what we had
We are the sun, slowly setting below the horizon

We used to blame it all on force
Saying that we found each other in the middle of the galaxy
But the truth is I am the galaxy itself
